World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrading of your equipment is an essential part of equipping your character. Upgrades increase the base damage as well as the enchantments of items.
They also provide bonuses and enhancements. They can be purchased by contacting the Blacksmith.
The upgrade button is available on any item. Each recycled item adds a level to the gauge for upgrading.
Weapon
When the weapon is upgraded it is granted an initial damage bonus as well as a scaling factor that influences other stats. Some upgrade components have aesthetic effects while others give additional features. These upgrades can be added to weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools. They generally require that the item is equipped with an upgrade slot and meet certain specifications. The upgrade component can be removed from a weapon, armor or trinket, but it is not replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). Upgrade components can be retrieved with the help of a Black-Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool, or by using a high-end salvage tool on the item it self.
A weapon can also be upgraded to include a calibration attribute that boosts certain stats, such as Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is accomplished through the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. Based on the level of the weapon it can be done up to four times.
Once the weapon has reached its maximum level of upgrade and is then reforged to add different bonuses and effects or improve specific stats. These upgrades can be applied at once, and their effects will differ based on how rare the weapon is.
Two Blacksmiths can be upgraded in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons, and Somber Smithing Stones for modifying the kind of damage a weapon deals.
In general, it is recommended to increase the damage of your weapon first, followed by armour defense, then the other secondary stats that are required by your build. In particular, it is common to see melee druids upgrade their weapon before they upgrade any other gear, since this helps maximise DPS. This is especially applicable to enchantments, which can be extremely effective in boosting the weapon's damage and other stats.
Armor
Item upgrades allow players to enhance the base stats of certain pieces of armor, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. They can also provide additional effects such as increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item Upgrades can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from NPC vendors, through loot drops, or as quest rewards.
Armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC and spending appropriate currencies. Most armor upgrades to the next level after an upgrade. This is the case for all types of armor, but certain items are not upgradeable in any way (such as the starter armor in Great Sky Island).
Most armor upgrades provide only a slight increase in an item's defense base or strength. However, certain upgrade components can offer significant improvements in strength or defense, particularly when upgrading an epic item.
Certain upgrades offer special abilities which can be activated when wearing armor. These abilities can be very useful in combat. For instance they can increase the speed of attack or block. Some upgrades have passive effects that can be beneficial for example, reducing damage while wearing armor or enhancing the chance to dodge an attack.
Based on the type of armor, upgrading an item may require multiple tries. For instance, if a player wanted to upgrade the strength of a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale the first attempt would result in a new piece of Dragonscale with the base defense of the ages of 59-67. The second attempt will result in an Dragonscale armor that has a base defense of between 67 and 77.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To do this, they must visit each of the four locations known as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations houses the power of a fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.
Contrary to popular belief armor in The Division 2 is not useless. The truth is that certain armors provide significant increases in poison or curse, fire, or magic damage reduction, making them very useful for certain builds. There are other ways to boost the stats of armor besides upgrading armor, such as using the engineer trait to increase armor penetrating or the challenger trait to decrease the total weight.
Potion
By putting a potion in a brewing stand, you can unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a brand new tier of potion effect, and can be repeated to unlock more tiers of potency.
The potion also gains a custom color code which the player can choose using /give and which affects area-of-effect clouds and arrows created by the potions. In Bedrock Edition, the custom potion color also applies to the effects of the potion's particle effects.
The water bottle, mundane potions that are thick and awkward now have a new texture for brewing. Added potion of weakness and healing potion to the Creative inventory. In addition, there are lingering potions that can be prepared using splash potions or Dragon breath. Additionally, there is a thick potion that has the status effect of Mining Fatigue. Trinket
A trinket is a small, inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. It could be a necklace or ring. Or, it could be a tiny banner that marks the yard of a boat. It can also be the trinket with gilded gold that is attached to the mast of a boat.
This macabre trinket is believed to be influencing the residents of this maze which makes them more prevalent. At its current level the trinket makes all kinds of mimic Xx more popular and gives each floor an X% chance of having an ebony mimic. This trinket requires a small amount of energy to upgrade.
item upgrading of the enchanted Scepter appears to influence the dungeon and increase the likelihood of generating grass and water. This trinket at the current level, will cause X% of regular floors to be filled with grass or water. It doesn't alter glyphs, enchantments, cursed armor or weapons, or items that are generated to aid in the elimination of the dangers in rooms.
While it looks like the normal eye of a newt this mystical item seems to affect your vision in ways that go beyond merely reducing your field of view. This trinket, at its current level, increases the health gained by drinking healing potion and wells of life by X% and grants mind sight on enemies within Y tile. This does not stack with Heightened Senses.
After completing the Mastery Cave after completing the Mastery Cave, you can find Trinkets by taking on Monsters and inside chests and crates within Skull Cavern. They are not found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
If you have a trinket which needs to be upgraded, place it in the Anvil to do so. This will have an effect on the trinket, either increasing or strengthening its effects. You can reorge the Trinket for as many times as you want, though it will always have an impact that is different from the one it was when you made it.
You can also enhance your Trinkets by placing them in a magical catalyst at the Alchemy Station. It will cost you 6 energy and boost the trinket's power by just a little.
